PRIVACY POLICY

What We Collect

  • Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address. We use this to identify your account.
  • Audio files: Files you upload are stored for processing and to support your saved library until you delete them or delete your account. We do not listen to, share, or sell your audio.
  • Processing results: Generated tabs, chords, and lyrics are stored in your account so you can access them later.
  • Payment information: Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We do store subscription state and Stripe customer or subscription references needed to manage billing and account access.
  • Email delivery records: We keep operational email logs for transactional and account-related messages. If you delete your account, those logs are redacted so they no longer keep your email address in normal form.

How We Use Your Data

  • To process your audio files and generate guitar tabs
  • To manage your account and subscription
  • To send transactional emails, including receipts, account notices, and deletion confirmations
  • To improve the accuracy of our transcription models

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase (database and auth) and processed on Modal (GPU compute). Audio files are stored in encrypted cloud storage. All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption. Payment processing is handled by Stripe.

Account Deletion and Retention

  • Free users can delete their account from Settings. Pro users can delete immediately or schedule deletion for the end of the current billing period.
  • When an account is deleted, we remove the live account and saved product data associated with it, including saved songs, uploaded files, and account preferences.
  • We retain limited billing and compliance records where required, including Stripe-linked billing references and records needed for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
  • We send a deletion confirmation email when an account deletion completes.
  • Deleted content is not restored automatically if you create a new account later.

Returning After Deletion

Deleting your account does not reset prior free-song usage. If you create a new account later with the same verified email, your earlier free usage carries forward instead of resetting. Paid reactivation remains available.

Third-Party Services

Your Rights

You can:

  • Delete your songs at any time from your library
  • Delete your account from Settings, or request a copy of your data or help with account deletion by emailing support@audio2guitar.com
  • Cancel your subscription at any time through Settings

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session management). We do not use tracking cookies or sell data to advertisers.
