Service Description
audio2guitar is a web application that uses AI to transcribe audio files into guitar tablature, chords, and lyrics. The service is provided "as is" and results may vary in accuracy depending on audio quality and content.
Accounts
- You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the service.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.
Free, PAYG, and Pro Plans
- Free: 3 successful song transcriptions total with full tabs, chords, and lyrics. MP3 files only. Deleting a result does not restore a free transcription.
- PAYG: A one-time pack adds 10 transcription credits. One credit is used only after a song is successfully processed. Credits pay for processing and are not reusable library slots. Deleting a completed result does not return a credit. Failed uploads and results where no guitar is detected do not use a credit.
- Pro: Monthly and annual Pro include unlimited song transcriptions for individual use, subject to the Fair Use Policy below. All audio formats, MIDI export, PDF/print, separated stems, per-stem MIDI, and no ads are included.
- Pro subscriptions renew monthly or annually based on the billing cadence selected at checkout. You can cancel at any time through your Settings page.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@audio2guitar.com.
Pro Individual Use and Fair Use
Monthly and annual Pro include unlimited song transcriptions for individual use, subject to this Fair Use Policy.
The current limit is 35 new songs in any rolling 7-day period. PAYG purchases use transcription credits and are not subject to this Pro limit.
When the limit is reached, existing songs and other Pro features remain available. New processing becomes available as earlier usage leaves the rolling 7-day window.
We may establish or change reasonable usage limits based on processing volume, frequency, automation, service capacity, security, or impact on other customers. Material changes will be posted before they take effect except when temporary restrictions are needed to protect the service or other customers.
Your Content
- You retain all rights to audio files you upload. We do not claim ownership of your content.
- You are responsible for having the right to upload and process any audio file. Do not upload content you do not own or have permission to use.
- Generated transcriptions are derived from your uploaded audio and are provided for personal, educational use.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to infringe on copyrights or intellectual property rights
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
- Use automation, scripts, bots, or other tools to submit songs in bulk
- Share, transfer, sell, or provide access to your account
- Operate a commercial transcription service using audio2guitar
- Use the service in a way that creates an unreasonable load or interferes with other customers
- Attempt to bypass usage protections or account restrictions
- Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the system
- Resell or redistribute transcription results at scale without permission
Accuracy Disclaimer
AI transcription is not perfect. Results depend on audio quality, complexity, and instrumentation. We make no guarantee of 100% accuracy. Tabs, chords, and lyrics should be treated as approximations and may require manual correction.
Limitation of Liability
audio2guitar is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service, including but not limited to inaccurate transcriptions, data loss, or service interruptions.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
